Job Summary
Lead and supervise Environmental Services staff to deliver high-quality cleaning and support services for Sunshine Hospital, ensuring adherence to Victorian Health cleaning and hygiene standards. Monitor service delivery, conduct audits, address compliance or performance issues, and support infection control, occupational health and safety, and emergency response processes. Coordinate waste management, linen handling, patient transport and stock control. Requires supervisory experience in healthcare, strong knowledge of cleaning standards and infection control, excellent communication, and the ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure. Proficiency with basic computer systems and a team-oriented approach is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within healthcare or a similar environment
- Strong understanding of cleaning standards, infection control and workplace safety practices
