Job Summary
Ensure Environmental Services operations remain fully compliant with Joint Commission Environment of Care, Infection Prevention, and Life Safety standards. Collaborate with the Director to manage department operations through planning, direction, and problem solving, while working daily with Nurse Managers to verify cleanliness standards and infection prevention practices. Conduct routine rounding across all assigned areas, monitor the Bed Tracking System, and resolve operational problems quickly. Remain available 24 hours for emergency situations and follow up on unresolved issues during off shifts or weekends. Maintain overtime levels within approved limits.
Required Qualifications
- Five years' experience as an environmental service coordinator, team leader or lead person in industrial/hotel or health care facility
- Remains available 24 hours for emergency situations
- Demonstrates the ability to prioritize issues and resolve operational problems quickly
- Follows up on unresolved issues from coordinators during off shifts or weekends
- Maintains overtime levels within approved limits
- Monitors and operates the Bed Tracking System effectively
