Environmental Services Supervisor

Job Summary
Ensure prescribed levels of cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance are maintained in assigned facilities by inspecting patient rooms, ancillary support rooms, and public areas. Supervise staff through orientation, scheduling, and ongoing performance feedback while training them in cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and safety protocols. Administer compliance to departmental policies and monitor inventory records for supplies and equipment. Dispense and collect keys assigned to Environmental Services staff and take required precautions when working with hazardous materials and power equipment. Maintain accurate record-keeping and monitor adherence to established safety standards. Shift time is 7:30a-4p.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 3 years' total experience or two years' experience at Emory Healthcare
- the ability to lift 50 pounds and to bend, stoop and twist
