Job Summary
Environmental Services Supervisor leading daily cleaning, sanitation, and safety operations for a healthcare/behavioral health facility. Oversees Environmental Services staff, provides coaching, training, and performance oversight, ensures compliance with OSHA, infection control, and facility policies, manages inventory and coordination with management to maintain a clean, safe, therapeutic environment for clients and staff.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in environmental services, housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial services
- Minimum of one (1) year Supervisory experience overseeing staff performance, training, and quality assurance
- Experience with OSHA regulations, infection control standards, and approved chemical handling protocols
- Experience in a healthcare or behavioral health environment (preferred)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak proficiently) (preferred)
- Must hold current CPR and First Aid certification or obtain certification within 30 days of hire (training provided by employer)
- Valid California identification card or driver’s license (no driving required)
- Successful completion of FBI/DOJ fingerprint clearance, negative TB test, and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as required
