Job Summary
Performs technical cleaning tasks in a hospital environment (e.g., mopping and scrubbing floors, stocking supplies in patient rooms, and cleaning in high-need areas such as Emergency Department, Surgery, Interventional Radiology, and Pharmacy) to maintain a sterile, infection-controlled environment. Responsibilities include floor care (stripping, refinishing, bonnet cleaning, extraction, polishing), handling and transporting soiled linens, trash, infectious waste, and recycling per policy; assisting with setup and project-related tasks; conducting terminal cleaning of procedural areas; cleaning walls, vents, ledges, and windows; regular cleaning of patient rooms and medical equipment; maintaining regulatory records; and supporting patient satisfaction through adhering to established procedures. Requires organizational, verbal interpersonal, customer relations, and English-language skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to work irregular/night shifts in a physically demanding, high-stress healthcare setting. Previous related experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications

- 1+ related experience (Preferred)

- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Strong communication skills; ability to read, write, and speak English
- Must possess basic computer skills
- Ability to function at a high level in a physically demanding, high-stress environment

- Ability to work irregular hours, including call hours
