Job Summary
Oversee complete operations of Environmental Services within the casino, including cleaning the hotel lobby, spa, public areas, restaurants, and banquet rooms. Conduct periodic evaluations of labor requirements, prepare detailed financial reports, and monitor inventory to ensure adherence to established budgets. Instruct, train, and provide direction to all staff while administering High Lift training and maintaining strict adherence to company policies and safety protocols. Work independently to develop schedules, resolve financial discrepancies, and coordinate with other departments to support cleaning operations. Perform daily inspections of casino and catering areas to ensure maximum efficiency and service standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience working in a high traffic, large facility required
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino
- The employee is also required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Must be able to work with various cleaning chemicals and agents
- Must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Must be detail oriented, able to take direction and handle multiple tasks, prioritize work effectively, and see a work project through to completion
- Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
- Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment
- Must be able to work independently without direct supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Four-year Hospitality related degree preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a supervisory position preferred
- Computer proficiency with office programs including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and scheduling software preferred
