Job Summary
Oversee Environmental Services at New Perspective Senior Living, leading the housekeeping team and maintaining essential building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, elevators, kitchens). Manage budgets, projects, and vendor relationships while creating a welcoming environment for residents; hire/train staff, ensure safety logs, and coordinate maintenance and room turnovers to support high standards of service.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent training/certification with expertise in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and kitchen systems
- Valid boiler license or willingness to obtain certification within a specific timeframe
- Strong ability to manage personnel, prioritize projects, and work in a team environment
- Experience in senior living, long-term care, or similar health care settings preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Computer proficiency and ability to work with electronic devices
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
