Job Summary
Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements. Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling, and maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment. Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff to effectively communicate directives. This 12-week paid program includes hands-on and computer-based training for long-term care facility operations. Residency within the service area required.
Required Qualifications
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
- Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously
- Must be able to work around food and cleaning products
- Able to follow oral and written instructions
- Able to perform routine, repetitive tasks daily
- Residency within the service area required
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Must have computer skills with the ability to maintain records and complete reports as required, including web-based reporting
