Job Summary
Manage and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements. Assist in staff training, development, and scheduling, and maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment. Act as liaison between building occupants, administrators, and HCSG staff to communicate directives effectively. This 12-week paid program includes hands-on and computer-based training to develop environmental services management skills. Residency within the service area is required.
Required Qualifications
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
- Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously
- Must be able to work around food and cleaning products
- Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily
- Residency within the service area required
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Must have computer skills with the ability to maintain records and complete reports as required, including web-based reporting
