Job Summary
Directs Environmental Services, Maintenance, and Housekeeping departments within a Monarch Communities senior living facility, overseeing programs, safety, regulatory compliance, budgeting, staffing, vendor coordination, and life-safety procedures while ensuring resident comfort and facility readiness. Responsibilities include developing policies, coordinating with other departments, managing schedules and staffing, monitoring expenditures, overseeing vendor contracts and systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety), maintaining logs and permits, conducting inspections, and supporting emergency readiness and CapEx initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance and housekeeping practices and procedures.
- Working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
- Hands-on experience with general maintenance, carpentry, and repair work.
- Ability to operate power and handheld tools and maintenance equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Facility Management software systems.
