Job Summary
Enter, assign, and close work orders; print preventative maintenance schedules for monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual checks. Order and pick up supplies, process payroll, and manage employee hours. Coordinate new equipment installation, process invoices, and maintain expense records. Manage the department in the absence of the manager or director. Communicate resident updates through the portal and handle department phone calls. Maintain supply levels and develop forms or spreadsheets as needed. This role supports the Environmental Services team at Glenaire, a Continuing Care Retirement Community, ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents.
Required Qualifications
- Able to speak and understand English
- High school diploma
- Two years experience in a supervisory role with a healthcare/hospitality organization
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with residents and staff
- May require to work other shifts or to perform other duties as needed
- May be called in evenings, holidays, and weekends to perform job related duties, or may be on call as needed
- Numerical ability is needed to compute arithmetic calculations to estimate materials
- Maintain good organizational skills including filing, etc
