Job Summary
Clean and disinfect patient rooms, offices, and ancillary areas; remove and dispose of linens and medical waste; and maintain floors, carpets, and upholstery. Stock supplies, assemble and store equipment, and report general maintenance issues. Assist visitors and employees in navigating the hospital. Collaborate with team members to ensure service continuity. Work evening shifts (3 p.m. to 11 p.m.) across department sites in Zeeland Hospital. No experience required; full training provided.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience public service and or customer service experience in a hotel, hospital, environmental services, or janitorial experience
- Must comply with the MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza vaccine requirement if in an on-site or hybrid workplace category
- Must be able to work evening shifts (3 p.m. to 11 p.m.)
- Must be available for every other weekend
- Must be able to work across department sites for coverage and business need
- Must be able to work variable days
