Job Summary
Conduct cleaning and disinfecting of patient rooms, offices, and ancillary areas while removing medical waste, trash, and linens. Maintain floors, carpets, and upholstery; stock supplies; and report maintenance requirements. Assist visitors and employees in navigating the hospital. Fully function within one cleaning area with potential coverage across department sites. Work evening shifts (3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.) at Troy Hospital on a part-time, variable schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Must be available for evening shifts (3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.)
- Must be available for every other weekend
- Must comply with MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza vaccine requirement
- Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Public service experience
- Customer service experience in a hotel, hospital, environmental services, or janitorial setting
