Job Summary
Perform routine cleaning of assigned hospital areas using appropriate chemicals and supplies per established procedures. Sanitize with germicidal cleansers, dust, clean windows and windowsills, and ensure tiled floors are dust mopped and free of dirt, dust, and black marks. Transport trash and hazardous waste to disposal areas while distributing linens to patient wings. Follow infection control practices including hand washing and isolation precautions. Maintain equipment properly and report safety hazards. Work with normal supervision in a hospital setting.
