Job Summary
Select cleaning materials, prepare chemicals, and load carts to maintain hospital areas in a neat, orderly, and sanitary condition. Wash furniture, tile, fixtures, and equipment with germicidal solutions; clean high-touch surfaces including doorknobs, handrails, telephones, and light switches. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; spot clean carpets; and arrange furniture and equipment after cleaning. Operate mechanical and electrical cleaning equipment, request supplies as needed, and report safety hazards to the manager.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, G.E.D. equivalent, or equivalent related experience
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Must be able to prioritize work under busy conditions and in high traffic areas
- Must complete a background check
- Must be vaccinated against COVID-19
- Must receive a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine
