Job Summary
Provides cleaning and sanitizing services to support a safe, clean and welcoming environment across patient rooms, offices, clinics, and clinical/procedural areas. Applies disinfection protocols and infection-control standards, conducts hazardous and biohazardous waste removal, and collaborates with clinical teams to ensure cleaning supports patient safety and care flow. Night shift with every other weekend/holiday rotation. Requires protective equipment and physical ability to perform duties, including lifting up to 35 lbs and operating light cleaning equipment. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience preferred
- No previous experience required
- Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing (gowns, gloves, goggles, etc.)
- Physical ability to lift up to 80% of the time (up to 35 lbs)
- Ability to operate light floor cleaning equipment
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to clean areas including IR/Cardiac Cath/Mother-Baby/NICU/OR/ED
