Environmental Services Associate

Environmental Services Associate position responsible for cleaning patient and public areas daily, trash collection, sanitizing surfaces, stocking supplies, and ensuring infection-control standards. Operates cleaning equipment, follows isolation procedures, and uses bed-management handheld technology to track bed throughput. Collects and disposes of waste (including biohazardous), documents work performed, and accesses ancillary units and restrooms as needed. Requires English proficiency, basic computer skills, ability to interact with patients, and adherence to safety data sheets and facility standards. Preferred candidates have healthcare environmental services experience and knowledge of cleaning protocols; High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. This role is full-time, day shift at AdventHealth in Tavares, FL.
