Job Summary
Maintain the cleanliness of patient and hospital facilities by performing routine cleaning of assigned areas, including daily sanitizing with germicidal cleanser, high dusting, window cleaning, and dust mopping tiled floors. Utilize appropriate chemicals and supplies according to established departmental procedures, ensuring proper dilution ratios and secure storage. Transport trash and hazardous waste to disposal areas while distributing and removing linens as needed. Follow all infection control practices, including hand washing and isolation precautions, and report safety hazards. Perform duties independently under normal supervision with occasional heavy physical effort up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- 0-6 months experience
- Experience in a domestic setting
