Environmental Services Assistants

Environmental Services Assistant at St John of God Midland Private Hospital responsible for cleaning and maintaining wards/units/hospital areas in accordance with Infection Control and Occupational Safety and Health standards. Reports to the Manager Support Services and Team Leader Environmental Services; involves working across hospital areas, adhering to safety protocols, removing soiled linen and rubbish, maintaining supplies, reporting maintenance and cleaning needs, and supporting a customer-focused environment with strong communication and teamwork. Requires basic knowledge of chemical usage, manual handling, infection control/housekeeping protocols, and safe use of cleaning equipment, with a focus on contributing to a safe, hygienic hospital setting.
