Job Summary
Manage and supervise environmental services staff at a long-term care facility, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards meet federal, state, and local regulations. Assist the EVS Manager in overseeing daily operations while maintaining accurate records of cleaning schedules, staff assignments, and inventory. Conduct training sessions on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and infection control measures. Perform quality inspections of cleaning tasks, provide constructive feedback, and ensure compliance with safety policies including proper PPE use. Communicate operational needs and feedback with staff, residents, and facility management. Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions with all stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies
- Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
- Residency within the service area
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or facilities management
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and safety regulations
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and report generation
