Job Summary
Manage and supervise environmental services staff to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards meet federal, state, and local regulations. Assist the EVS Manager in overseeing daily operations, maintaining accurate records of cleaning schedules, staff assignments, and inventory. Conduct training sessions on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and infection control measures. Perform quality inspections of cleaning tasks, provide constructive feedback, and communicate operational needs with staff, residents, and facility management. Ensure compliance with safety policies and PPE usage while representing HCSG positively with all stakeholders. High school diploma required; previous EVS or facilities management experience desired. Residency within the service area required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies
- Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
- Residency within the service area
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or facilities management
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and safety regulations
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and report generation
