Job Summary
Perform advanced environmental services duties focusing on floor care to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary hospital environment. Responsibilities include floor care (stripping/refinishing floors, carpet shampooing, upholstery cleaning), disinfecting rooms per infection control protocols, waste disposal, stocking supplies, maintaining equipment and carts, and adhering to safety and departmental policies. Requires following infection prevention practices, ability to respond to shift tasks, and effective communication. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; additional environmental services or housekeeping experience preferred. Starting pay is $17.75 per hour with scheduled increases after six months and after one year.
