Job Summary
Environmental Services Assistant I – PRN performs quality floor care and housekeeping to maintain a sanitary, safe, clean, and attractive facility. Duties include cleaning patient rooms and offices per the Daily/Detailed Cleaning Checklist, stocking supplies and linens on assigned units, assisting with breaking down/putting away linen carts, maintaining the EVS closet and cart cleanliness, reporting repairs or damage, assisting with event set-ups and breakdowns, and completing mandatory education. Must follow PPE standards, handle biohazardous waste per policy, and be able to push/pull or lift 25 lbs; must stand or walk about 90% of a shift. Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of previous housekeeping experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Knowledge of chemicals, cleaning products, and their interaction preferred
