Job Summary
Follow all cleaning and PPE standards while cleaning patient rooms, offices, and assigned areas using the Daily/Detailed Cleaning Checklist. Stock or replenish supplies and linens, assist with linen cart management, and maintain the housekeeping cart and EVS closet. Wash and dry mop heads and rags, track and report linen services, and document any repairs or damage. Assist in event set-ups and breakdowns as needed, while following precautionary standards for biohazardous waste handling. Complete all mandatory education within deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to push, pull or lift 25 lbs. on a regular basis
- Must be able to stand or walk about 90% of a work shift
- Must be able to see, talk and hear coworkers, patients and others
- Weekend Obligation: Yes
- Shift: Evenings - 3:00pm-11:30pm
- All candidates extended conditional offer of employment will be subject to a WebCheck (BCI & FBI Fingerprinting)
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1 year of previous housekeeping experience is preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Knowledge of chemicals, cleaning products, and their interaction is preferred
