Job Summary
Perform daily and thorough cleaning to create a safe, clean, and healing hospital environment following established guidelines; handle general waste and soiled linen per procedures; safely use cleaning chemicals and operate equipment such as floor-cleaning machines and trash/liners; assist with small moves or room setups, participate in department meetings and trainings, and contribute ideas to improve efficiency, safety, and workflow in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Required Qualifications
- No prior Environmental Services experience required
- Ability to operate or learn floor-cleaning equipment
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend and push for extended periods
- Lift at least 30 lbs
- Basic computer knowledge for communication and training
- Demonstrates reliability, teamwork, and customer service in a fast-paced environment
