Job Summary
Environmental Services Aide cleans, sanitizes and disinfects all areas of a health care facility, maintains cleanliness of patient rooms, operating rooms, exam rooms, treatment rooms, care centers and public areas, collects and transports solid and infectious waste, and may stock clean linen. Responsibilities include dusting, mopping, trash removal, changing bed linen, vacuuming, operating an auto scrub machine, identifying and reporting safety hazards, and ensuring proper use of PPE. Works 8-hour day/evening shifts with occasional weekends in a casual (0.0 FTE) part-time capacity.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description
- 0 to 2 years of environmental services experience or high school diploma/GED
