Job Summary
Environmental Services Aide at Allina Health cleans, sanitizes and disinfects all areas of a health care facility, maintains cleanliness of patient rooms, operating rooms, exam rooms, treatment rooms, care centers and public areas, and handles solid and infectious waste transport. Responsibilities include dusting, mopping, trash disposal, changing bed linen, vacuuming, operating an auto scrub machine to clean floors, identifying safety hazards, reporting needed repairs, maintaining linen inventory, and using hospital equipment safely. Requires 0-2 years of environmental services experience or a high school diploma/GED; 18+ years old; 8-hour shifts (day/evening/night) with occasional weekend rotation; casual FTE with at least two shifts per month and one weekend or morning shift per month.

- Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description or 6 months similar work experience
- 0 to 2 years of environmental services experience or high school diploma/GED
