Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness in all resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas by vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces according to departmental procedures. Collect resident and office trash, empty liners, and stock paper supplies while properly diluting and using chemicals in accordance with safety protocols. Assist in resident transfers, discharges, and admissions by packing belongings, labeling boxes, and moving items to designated locations. Monitor supply inventory, report hazardous conditions, and maintain a clean, organized work environment including elevators and housekeeping carts. Work part-time shifts from 7am to 3pm with every other weekend required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to receive and give written and oral directions
- Ability to interact courteously and tactfully with staff, residents, family members, visitors, vendors and the general public
- Prolonged walking and standing
- Must be able to regularly lift 30 pounds
- Occasional lift 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to sit

- Distance vision

- Ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
- Six months' environmental services experience
- Experience in a health care setting
