Job Summary
Environmental Services Worker II in a hospital setting responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining patient-care facilities. Performs floor care (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, shampooing), waste collection/disposal (biohazardous and infectious materials), linen handling with proper containment, and spill cleanup. Maintains compliance with infection control standards, hospital policies, and regulatory guidelines; communicates maintenance needs to supervisors; maintains cleaning logs and completes tasks as assigned; work in evenings on a full-time schedule; 1-3 years of related experience and familiarity with hospital cleaning procedures; CHEST or CHESP certification preferred. Keeps facilities safe, hygienic, and welcoming for patients, staff, and visitors.
