Environmental Service Worker -Heavy

Strip, wax, and maintain tile floors throughout the medical center, including cleaning corners, baseboards, and dusting. Perform hard surface floor care, carpet maintenance, damp mopping, and burnishing. Clean corridors, waiting rooms, stairways, and other assigned areas while ensuring janitor closets remain stocked with equipment. Collect and transport soiled linens using universal precautions, assist the laundry provider, and handle biomedical waste per Infection Control Policy. Demonstrate knowledge of chemical use, dilution, and economical supply distribution. Report equipment malfunctions to the supervisor, attend monthly staff meetings, and adhere to all departmental policies and procedures.
