Job Summary
Lead and coordinate Environmental Service Technician staff on-site from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily, assigning cleaning tasks for non-patient areas including offices, hallways, and common spaces. Conduct routine walkthroughs to verify restroom disinfection, floor care, and terminal cleaning of exam rooms meet VA standards, while performing hands-on duties as needed. Manage quality control logs, report staffing or supply gaps to management, and train staff on safety protocols and equipment use. Ensure compliance with infection control guidelines, life safety regulations, and facility care policies throughout the shift.
Required Qualifications
- At least one (1) year of experience in housekeeping services
- Demonstrated knowledge of developing and maintaining quality control processes for cleaning/custodial operations
- Ability to lead, direct, and communicate effectively with a shift team
- Ability to pass VA background investigation prior to starting work
- Real ID required
- Written and verbal proficiency in English
