Job Summary
Lead and inspect cleaning of non-patient areas including offices, hallways, and exam rooms while performing hands-on duties as needed. Direct, coordinate, and oversee EVS staff executing assigned work requirements, assigning tasks and adjusting coverage for staffing gaps. Conduct routine walkthroughs of restrooms and common areas to verify standards, train staff on safety protocols, and maintain cleaning logs. Ensure restrooms are disinfected three times daily, floors are swept and mopped, and exam rooms are turned over at end of day. Empty and sanitize trash containers, manage equipment usage, and report safety hazards or facility defects promptly.
Required Qualifications
- At least one (1) year of experience in housekeeping services
- Demonstrated knowledge of developing and maintaining quality control processes for cleaning/custodial operations
- Ability to lead, direct, and communicate effectively with a shift team
- Ability to pass VA background investigation prior to starting work
- Real ID required
- Written and verbal proficiency in English
