Job Summary
EVS Tech is an entry-level role responsible for cleaning patient areas and non-patient areas to promote a healthy and safe hospital environment. Responsibilities include completing daily, isolation, and discharge/transfer cleaning of patient areas following Fort HealthCare procedures; cleaning and relocating medical equipment; cleaning non-patient areas; responding to specific cleaning requests; handling general and medical waste and soiled linen; transporting soiled linen, trash, recycling, and infectious waste; vacuuming, mopping, and machine scrubbing floors; maintaining and stocking EVS storeroom; laundering or handling cleaning supplies and cubicle curtains; completing department projects and following infection control and safety guidelines. Requires no prior cleaning experience; high school diploma or GED preferred. Shift is 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm on weekends; part-time position with opportunities for career advancement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Cleaning experience preferred
- Cleaning in healthcare, hospitality, commercial or private environment preferred.
