Job Summary
Environmental Services Admin II handles disinfection and cleaning in patient care, outpatient, and other hospital areas. Follows the 7-step cleaning process and infection control guidelines. Restocks paper products and chemicals; removes trash from assigned areas; adheres to department policies and procedures; delivers exemplary customer service to patients, visitors, families, and staff. Performs discharge cleaning using approved chemicals; supports Covenant Health mission and core values; participates in maintaining high levels of cleanliness and safety. Requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment and physical ability to perform tasks involving sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 25 lbs; standard of business conduct and nondiscrimination policies apply.
Required Qualifications
- Previous healthcare cleaning experience preferred
- An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.
