Job Summary
Lead and mentor production staff on environmental projects related to electric transmission line routing and siting; provide technical leadership, QA/QC, and client interaction; develop and evaluate alternative routing options; prepare environmental assessment documents and documentation for regulatory compliance (NEPA and state/federal); provide expert testimony for contested hearings; collaborate with multi-discipline teams to deliver solutions; travel as needed; Halff emphasizes long-tenured teams and a broad suite of environmental services; multiple Texas and select US locations support hybrid work arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or related field from an accredited university; Master's Degree is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Transmission Line Routing or Siting
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and ArcGIS
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel as needed
