Job Summary
Collect field samples for stormwater, mold, wastewater, and other industrial hygiene projects while writing technical reports and following supervisor direction. Work on-site at client locations in the Washington, DC area. Schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. ET. This internship provides hands-on exposure to environmental and industrial hygiene services for students pursuing degrees in environmental science, geology, biology, or chemistry.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, Chemistry or a related field of study
- Basic environmental science knowledge
- Strong technical writing skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Awareness of safety standards and practices
- Good record keeping
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Availability to work Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. ET
- On-site work at a client location in Washington DC
