Job Summary

Support projects in toxicology, ecology, human health, and water resources by performing technical analyses and preparing reports, letters, and proposals under supervisor guidance. Assist in developing workplans and sampling plans for site investigations, then manage, analyze, and interpret environmental data using statistical tools and visualization software. Independently conduct research tasks, perform data compilation, exploratory analysis, and computer modeling while contributing to proposal development and business activities. Collaborate with technical experts, project managers, and subcontractors to solve challenging environmental problems.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced degree with background in toxicology
  • Up to 2 years of relevant professional work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Programming skills in R and/or Python
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and probabilistic analysis applied to toxicology
  • Collaborative mindset
  • Ability/willingness to travel

Desired Qualifications

  • Ph.D.
  • Interest in leveraging automated workflows and data science tools
  • Experience using mapping software such as ESRI ArcGIS
