Job Summary
Conduct Phase I/II/III Environmental Site Assessments consistent with ASTM standards and MassDEP/NHDES guidance. Provide oversight and collect samples during soil boring drilling, monitoring well installation, and remedial activities, including long field hours. Manage analytical data for air, soil, groundwater, and water samples through tabulation, evaluation, and QA/QC review. Prepare plans, maps, and boring logs while assisting with work plans, technical reports, and cross-disciplinary field assignments like stormwater sampling. Requires a Bachelor's degree, HAZWOPER training, and hybrid work availability in Rockey Hill, CT.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, geology, or another related field
- 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations (HAZWOPER) and annual refresher training
- 0 to 3 years of experience
- A positive attitude and the ability to communicate effectively with others
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle a flexible workload, diverse projects, and work well with multiple staff members
- Willingness to travel to conduct field work
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Ideally the candidate will reside in the southeast region of New Hampshire or northeast region of Massachusetts
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment (office / field and remote)
- Experience working independently in a field setting (drilling supervision, sample collection, construction oversight)
- Familiarity with ArcGIS and AutoCAD
