Job Summary

Plan and deliver discrete technical tasks for environmental site assessments, monitoring, and remediation projects under senior staff guidance. Lead field programs including groundwater and surface water monitoring, soil sampling, and site inspections. Manage, analyse, and interpret environmental datasets to prepare summaries, figures, and technical commentary. Draft technical reports, work plans, and compliance documentation. Coordinate subcontractors for drilling and excavation works. Support project planning, scope definition, scheduling, and budget management. This flexible role involves a mix of field, office, and home-based work with periodic regional travel. Based in Brisbane, QLD, the position requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science or engineering with 3–5 years of consulting experience. Australian citizenship or valid visa is required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, hydrogeology, soil science or other relevant science/engineering degree
  • Approximately 3–5 years' experience in environmental consulting or a closely related technical role
  • Demonstrated experience in groundwater and soil sampling and environmental monitoring programs
  • A developing understanding of environmental and resource regulatory frameworks and guidelines
  • Australian experience and a current ability to work in Australia (citizenship or valid visa)
  • Current Australian state driving license

Desired Qualifications

  • Data management experience (experience with R, Power BI and other database management experience is preferred, but not essential)
