Job Summary
Environmental Field Scientist role responsible for conducting on-site environmental inspections at operational sites to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and internal protocols. Responsibilities include inspecting hazardous waste handling, universal waste, stormwater and wastewater systems, air emissions and refrigerant management, solid waste, and chemical storage; reviewing hazardous waste manifests, emergency response plans, spill logs, permits, and environmental records; preparing detailed inspection reports; proposing corrective actions; conducting field sampling (stormwater, wastewater, air, etc.); and traveling up to 80% to client sites. Requires strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (RCRA, EPCRA, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, DOT) and proficiency with MS Office and reporting platforms. Education: BA/BS in a related environmental discipline; Experience: 0-3 years in environmental inspections or regulatory compliance; Travel within a 300-mile radius; Sponsorship not available.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, Biology, Geology, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related discipline.
