Job Summary
Support green infrastructure projects through field investigations and inspection report reviews. Conduct site investigations and water sampling activities for the illicit discharge program. Perform surveys, categorize findings, and analyze environmental data to prepare regulatory compliance reports. Provide environmental program awareness training to staff and update standard operating procedures. Maintain SharePoint lists and databases while managing inventory of public education materials. Distribute stormwater pollution prevention materials to residents and support public outreach initiatives. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field, two years of water sampling experience, and a valid driver's license. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Environmental Engineering, Natural Resources, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in water sampling and public education/outreach activities
- Valid driver's license
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat Pro, and SharePoint
