Job Summary
Act as the primary liaison between BC Hydro Environmental Management, Construction/Commercial Management, Contractors, and Project-based Environmental Staff for the North Coast Transmission Line expansion. Coordinate environmental risk activities across three phases of a 500 kV project, including expansions to existing and new greenfield substations and thermal upgrades to circuits 5L61, 5L62 & 5L63. Manage risk protocols for approximately 440 km of new line between Prince George and Terrace, as well as the 350 km extension north of Terrace to Bob Quinn. Ensure all scopes align with the 2032 completion target and oversee co-owned asset development with multiple First Nations for Phases 1 & 2. This role supports the delivery of a major infrastructure project with significant environmental stewardship requirements.
