Job Summary
Lead, design, and conduct Human Health Risk Assessments (HHRA) and Ecological Risk Assessments (ERA) for major transportation projects, infrastructure developments, and contaminated sites; apply O. Reg. 153/04 requirements including MGRAs and vapour intrusion assessments; develop risk management measures and produce high-quality technical work; support proposal writing, project scoping, and client relationship development; be an emerging leader in the risk assessment community and contribute to development and implementation of risk assessment strategy with the team to grow the business; collaborate with others to cultivate business development opportunities; Qualified Person for Risk Assessment (QPRA) in Ontario required; Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline; 8+ years' experience in risk assessments and related fields; proficient with spreadsheets and exposure-model development; strong verbal and written communication, analytical, and organizational skills; experience training and mentoring staff.
Required Qualifications
- QPRA designation in Ontario
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline
- 8+ years' experience in human health and ecological risk assessments, brownfield remediation and risk management measures, or related field
- Experience with spreadsheets to coalesce and evaluate complex datasets and develop exposure models
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Experience training and mentoring staff on projects
