Job Summary
Supervise and direct Environmental Service Technicians and field crews on hazardous waste cleanups, industrial cleaning operations, site remediation projects, and emergency spill response activities. Coordinate project staffing, conduct pre-job site assessments, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Serve as the primary field contact for customers, complete project documentation and Job Safety Analyses, and enforce strict safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout and confined space entry procedures. Lead operations across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, requiring 2+ years of supervisory experience and the ability to travel for overnight assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age of 21 years
- 2+ years of experience in environmental services, industrial cleaning, remediation, or emergency response
- 2+ years of supervisory, crew lead, or project management experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours as project demands require
- Valid CDL Class A License with Tanker Endorsement
- Hazmat Endorsement
- 2+ years of CDL driving experience
- 2+ years of verifiable vacuum truck operation experience within the last three years
- Experience operating manual and automatic transmissions
- TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
- Must be able to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Must be able to work in industrial environments and confined spaces when required
- Must be able to wear respiratory protection and maintain a clean-shaven face for proper respirator fit
