Job Summary
Environmental Project Scientist with 0-2 years of field experience sought to perform Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments and NEPA reviews primarily for telecommunications facilities and commercial properties. On-site role based in Schaumburg, IL with travel to project locations; duties include site visits, data review from regulatory databases, interviews, and drafting standardized reports per ASTM E-1527-21 and NEPA requirements; responsibilities also cover QA/QC, field sampling of soils, groundwater, soil vapor, and indoor air, and coordination with federal, state, and local agencies. Preferred qualifications include NEPA/Section 106, 40-Hour HAZWOPER, mold/IAQ experience, licensed asbestos/lead-based paint inspector, and related environmental certifications; a Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant fields is required.
