Job Summary
Manage water and wastewater treatment plant projects from planning and design through construction while maintaining project schedules, budgets, and client expectations. Develop project scopes, work plans, engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction administration deliverables. Build and maintain relationships with municipal clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders while supporting business development efforts. Assist with proposal development, project financing coordination, and overall practice growth initiatives. This role requires a licensed Professional Engineer with strong technical expertise and project management experience overseeing utility infrastructure projects from planning through construction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- active North Carolina Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience in a consulting environment
- at least 5 years of project management experience
- Strong knowledge of municipal water and wastewater treatment systems
