Job Summary
Environmental Restoration Project Manager in Fife, WA, responsible for overseeing and directing ecological restoration projects including habitat restoration, stormwater management, wetland restoration, and stream restoration. Lead, schedule, and train field teams; ensure accurate documentation of site conditions, project progress, and regulatory compliance; assess sites and oversee implementation of plans to meet project goals. Serve as the face of Riparia Environmental’s restoration efforts to clients, manage relationships, grow the client portfolio, and drive business growth by expanding into new geographical markets. Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, track progress in Deltek Vantagepoint, and maintain high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience managing/directing field crews on ecological/restoration projects
- 2+ years experience in client contract management
- Direct experience in ecological or habitat restoration and familiarity with applicable regulations and best management practices
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to read/verify construction plans, environmental permits, and best management practices related to restoration projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe software
- Certification or ability to obtain relevant certifications in restoration management (e.g., Licensed Herbicide Applicator, CESCL)
