Job Summary
Coordinate logistics for hazardous and non-hazardous waste transportation, including profiling, scheduling, manifesting, and loading bulk and drum loads. Direct onsite activities for storage, disposal, and related services while serving as the liaison between clients and vendors for contract management. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations through inspections, reporting, and timely issue resolution. Administer financial obligations for clients and vendors, including invoicing and contract administration. Supervise one full-time operations employee and promote safety culture by ensuring personnel are trained and compliant with OSHA and environmental standards. Perform labor-intensive tasks such as drum collection and bulking as required. This role operates in a mix of office and field environments and requires HAZWOPER, RCRA, DOT, and OSHA 40-Hour certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Environmental Sciences, Accounting, Business or related field, or in lieu of degree
- High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience
- 2 years of relevant work experience (in addition to the education requirement)
- HAZWOPER Certification upon hire
- RCRA and DOT regulatory compliance experience upon hire
- OSHA 40-Hour Certification upon hire
- Pre-assignment and/or pre-hire customer-specific drug and/or alcohol testing
