Job Summary
Environmental Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of environmental remediation projects in NC/SC, including supervision of technical staff, client interaction, budget and resource management, report drafting and regulatory strategy. Requires 5-10+ years of related experience, project leadership, and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in geology or environmental science. Responsibilities include directing fieldwork, evaluating subsurface conditions, preparing site work plans and reports, managing client relationships and contracts, and leading team meetings while ensuring quality deliverables and regulatory objectives. Hybrid work environment available with locations in West Columbia, SC and Raleigh, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in geology, environmental science, or a similar scientific major
- 5-10+ years of related experience in investigation, reporting, remediation, and management of remedial sites/projects and petroleum sites in NC or SC
- Working knowledge of NC/SC environmental regulations
- Experience with environmental due diligence (Phase I ESA) a plus
- Technical report writing, client interaction, and supervision experience
- Must possess excellent communication skills, teamwork, organizational skills, and client service skills
