Job Summary
Environmental Project Manager overseeing a portfolio of groundwater and environmental remediation projects in North and South Carolina. Responsibilities include supervising technical staff, managing client interactions and project budgets, directing field activities, drafting technical reports and proposals, evaluating subsurface conditions, understanding remedial systems under a Professional Engineer's directives, preparing regulatory strategies for submittals and negotiations, and leading team meetings. Requires 5-10+ years of related experience, strong regulatory knowledge for NC/SC, and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in geology or environmental science. Hybrid work arrangement available at the Morrisville, NC location with emphasis on client service, collaboration with business development, and supervision of project teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in geology, environmental science, or a similar scientific major
- 5-10+ years of related experience in investigation, reporting, remediation, and management of remedial sites/projects
- Experience with North Carolina or South Carolina environmental regulations
- Environmental due diligence (Phase I ESA) experience a plus
- Technical report writing, client interaction, and supervision experience
- Must be able to demonstrate prior managerial experience (client, financial and personnel management)
- Excellent communication, teamwork, organizational skills, and client service skills
